If you are experiencing problems fetching or syncing from DaVinci Resolve into Colourlab AI, please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
⸻
1. Verify Your DaVinci Resolve Version
Live linking between Colourlab AI and DaVinci Resolve is only supported with DaVinci Resolve Studio.
The free version of DaVinci Resolve does not support live linking.
⸻
2. Check Scripting Preferences in DaVinci Resolve
1. Open DaVinci Resolve Preferences.
2. Go to the General section.
3. Ensure that Scripting is set to Local.
4. If it is not, change the setting, save, and restart DaVinci Resolve.
⸻
3. Use the Correct Version of Colourlab AI
Make sure you are running Colourlab AI version 3.5 or later.
This version includes improved syncing capabilities with DaVinci Resolve.
⸻
4. Use the Plugin for Direct Workflow
If syncing still fails:
• Use the Colourlab AI plugin inside DaVinci Resolve.
• This is available in DaVinci Resolve DVR (the supported version).
• With the plugin, you don’t need to send grades back and forth. Simply:
1. Apply the plugin directly to the clips you want.
2. Select your reference.
3. Continue grading seamlessly within Resolve.
⸻
✅ Following these steps should resolve most issues related to fetching or syncing with DaVinci Resolve.
